An honest answer before you invest
Moving to Europe for work or study can take a year and cost thousands of euros. Too many people only find out at the end that they never had a realistic chance. We think you deserve to know at the start.
Why we exist
Every year, people put their savings, their time, and their hopes into residence permit applications. They pay agents, translate documents, take tests, and wait. And many of them end up disappointed, after the money is already spent.
Often, the warning signs were there from the beginning. A gap in the documents. An English level that wasn't quite enough. Something in a background check nobody looked at early. The information existed. It just wasn't put together in time.
We started visacheck.eu to change that. Our goal is simple: give people a clear, honest answer about their chances before they commit, so they can decide with open eyes.
What we believe
Europe needs talent
Europe's companies, hospitals, universities, and workshops depend on skilled people, and many of them come from outside the EU. Professionals and motivated students are always wanted. We believe people from outside Europe should have a fair, realistic chance to come here and build their future.
A fair chance starts with honest information
A fair chance means knowing where you stand. Sometimes the answer is "you're in a strong position." Sometimes it's "fix these things first." Sometimes it's "not right now." Each of those answers saves you time and money, and we'd rather tell you the truth than tell you what you want to hear.
Speed should never replace care
Getting a quick answer matters when you're making big decisions. But a fast answer is only useful if it's a careful one. That's why we combine modern technology with real human review.
AI speeds it up. People decide.
We use modern AI technology to do the slow, repetitive work: transcribing and scoring your English interview, cross-checking your documents, and searching published sources as part of your background screening. That's how we get you an initial answer much faster than a traditional process.
But no verdict reaches you without a person reading it first. A human reviewer checks the evidence, the transcripts, and the results, and signs off on every assessment before it's sent. The technology makes us fast. Our reviewers make sure we're right.
What your check includes
- Background screening using published sources, and a check that your documents and declarations are consistent
- English assessment based on short recorded video answers, scored against the internationally recognised CEFR scale
- A clear verdict about your chances, reviewed and approved by a person
Who we are
visacheck.eu is operated by SIA SUBSTRING, a company registered and based in the European Union. We work with people from India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan who are considering work or study in Europe.
We are an independent service. We are not a government agency, an immigration authority, or a law firm, and we don't issue visas or residence permits. Our assessment tells you about your chances. It is not a guarantee and not legal advice. The final decision on any application always rests with the relevant authorities.
